What is Accreditation?

PHILOSOPHY:

At A+ Early Learning Center we believe that all children are special and are entitled to live in a safe and healthy environment where caring grown-ups offer developmentally appropriate experiences to foster the intellectual, emotional and physical growth enabling them to become self-sufficient adults.

OUR MISSION:

To strengthen families by helping them meet the needs of their children with comprehensive early childhood services:

• Quality child care for working parents
Before school care: 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM
After school care: 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Licensed by Florida Dept. of Children and Families
Miami-Dade County Child Development Services
Year-round, Monday through Friday

• School readiness program
Nationally accredited
Active learning (High/Scope Curriculum)
Field trips to reinforce learning
Enrichment activities include computers and dance
Positive behavior management
Conflict resolution skills
Accessible and inclusive setting
Year-round, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

• Child wellness services
USDA Child Care Food Program
Nutritious breakfast, hot lunch and afternoon snacks
Milk and 100% fruit juice served daily
Daily health check
Growth, weight and immunization monitoring
Summer swimming program
